Tour Itinerary: Delhi (1N) – Satpura Reserve(3N) – Jabalpur (1N)- Kanha (2N) – Bandhavgarh (3N) – Delhi (1N)

Tour Theme: Given Tiger Tour covers some of the magnificent Tiger Reserves of Madhya Pradesh, Central India. Among them Satpura National Park is spread over Satpura Range, Kanha Tiger Reserve is on Maikal-Satpura Range and Bandhavgarh National Park is on Vindhya Ranges. They all are in a row and nestles wildlife treasures.

Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi

On arrival at Delhi Airport, met by our representative and transfer to hotel. On reaching hotel, you will be handed over all necessary travel vouchers & documents along with short briefing of tour program and also provide answer to your queries. For rest of the day we may opt to relax in hotel or tour to Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) covering Red fort, Jama Masjid, tricycle ride tour of Chandini Chowk etc. Before going to sleep, get prepared to wake-up early in the morning to board Shatabdi train for Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, Central India. Day 02: Delhi - (By Train) - Bhopal – Satpura National Park (210kms/04:30hrs)
After early morning breakfast, transfer to New Delhi railway station to board super-fast train for Bhopal city, capital of Madhya Pradesh State in Central India. Train will travel in South direction of Delhi. While traveling on the train, we will pass through Agra, Gwalior, Jhansi stations and likely to reach Bhopal in afternoon. On arrival at Bhopal railway station, transfer to Satpura National Park at a distance of 210kms from city, on taxi car.

Day 03 - 04: Satpura National Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives of Satpura National Park. It is located at South of Madhya Pradesh State in Central India. It is one of the least traveled and upcoming national park of India. Virgin wildlife of this national park is yet to be introduced to rest of the world. It is one of the part of Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve, spread over an area of 524.37 sq. kms in Satpura Range of Madhya Pradesh, Central India. Other 2 wildlife conservation units are Bori Sanctuary (518 sq. kms) and Pachmarhi Sanctuary (416.37sq. kms.). Satpura  National Park is declared as core zone and other two units are part of Buffer zone of the reserve. Important places to visit in Satpura National Park are Jamun Jhiria, Lagda, Piparpani, Kharer, Bhuri Maati Dam (bhuri means light-brown, maati means soil ), Peeliya, Kharet Nala etc. Commonly seen wildlife attractions are : Tiger, leopard, sloth bear, wild dog (Dholes), nilgai antelope, sambar (cervus unicolor), hyena, wild boar, muntjac deer, gaur (Bison), mouse deer, black buck etc. Bird life includes: shahin falcon, black eagle, rufous bellied eagle, bonnelli’s eagle, Malabar pied hornbill and much more. Crocodiles can also be seen here. Nature walk, wild watching through hides and boating are the added incentives visitor can get on tour to Satpura National Park India.

Day 05: Satpura National Park - Jabalpur (230kms/05:00hrs)
We begin the day with drive to Jabalpur city located in west of Satpura National Park.. On the bank of holy Narmada river, Jabalpur is a historical city at Madhya Pradesh in Central India. City is surrounded by 5 premier Tiger reserves of Central India. Do enroute visit Bhedaghat tourist destination, just 25 kms before Jabalpur city. Do boating in Narmada river passes through valley of marble rocks. One can also enjoy rope-way ride and waterfall in Bhedaghat. Later visit Chousat Yogini Temple in Bhedaghat. It was built in between 9th & 10th century, depicting 95 finely carved Yogini statues arranged in circular form, at the top of the hill. At the center, temple of lord Shiva & Parvati is positioned.

Day 06: Jabalpur - Kanha National Park (165kms/04:00hrs)
Begin the day with drive towards Kanha National Park on the south-west of Jabalpur city. On the way to Kanha, we will pass through Mandla city at a distance of 95kms from Jabalpur city and we are suppose to reach Kanha at noon in order to do evening game drive. Mandla is a tribal district on the bank of river Narmada where one can find marks of historical monuments of Gondwana Dynasty. Field Director of Kanha National Park has its office in Mandla town. Kanha national park is just 75 kms from Mandla. On reaching Mandla, we will halt for short interval for refreshment purpose and then continue our drive to Kanha. Take evening game drive of Kanha Forest..

Day 07: At Kanha National Park
Take Morning and Afternoon park safari of Kanha Tiger Reserve. Kanha National Park is located in Maikal range in eastern ector of Satpura hills in Central Indian Highlands. It was declared as a National Park in 1955 and was introduced to Project Tiger at its inception in 1973. Park is commemorated for successful revival of Hardground Barasingha population in Kanha forest which is their last home in India. Park is spread over two import river valleys: Banjar & Hallon. Park is also appreciated for its tourist friendly management practices and successful conservation programs.

Day 08: Kanha - Bandhavgarh(260 kms/ 06:00hrs)
Take Morning game drive as the last one in Kanha Tiger Reserve. Later, after having lunch, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park in North-East direction. In this transfer we will pass through same Mandla city, Ghughwa fossil park, Teak forest hills, tribal villages, rocky plateau stretch etc. On reaching Bandhavgarh, we will have dinner and retire to our resort to get up early in the morning for wildlife expedition in Bandhavgarh forest.

Day 09 - 10: - At Bandhavgarh
Early morning our park safari will start, rush to entrance gate and do the necessary formalities to be the first to witness tigers of Bandhavgarh National Park. It is famous for high tiger density and Bandhavgarh-fort on hill top. Wildlife attractions of Bandhavgarh are: Tigers, Spotted Deer, Leopards, Sambhar, Wild Boar, Black-face Languars, Sloth Bear etc. Bird sighting from hill-top during fort visit is another attraction as we have chance to do bird watching of flying birds and do photography. Birds like Malabar Pied Hornbill, Grey Hornbill, Egyptian Vulture, Crested Serpent Eagle, Magpie, Indian Roller, Racket Tailed Drango, Golden Oriole, Black Drango, Spotted Dove, Lesser Adjutant, Painted Storke, Shika etc can be encountered during park safari. Bandhavgarh fort visit is a special visit in which we can see ancient Bandhavdheesh temple, man-made ponds, small Bandhavgarh fort, Treasury building, statues, caves, bird photography point etc., all on the top of the hill.

Day 11: Bandhavgarh – Katni (100kms/02:30hrs)
Take morning safari in Bandhavgarh as the last one. After lunch, we will drive to Katni railway station to board over-night train for Delhi.
Overnight will be on air-conditioned sleeper compartment in train.

 
     
 

Day 12: Delhi - Departure
On reaching New Delhi/Hazrat Nizamuddin railway, move to hotel. Rest of the day will be at leisure. We may go for local sightseeing of Lutyen’s Delhi which covers magnificent work of Sir Edward Lutyen encompassing Parliament House, India Gate, President House etc. As an alternate to Lytyen's New Delhi, we may visit temples in Delhi like Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple, Isckon Temple, Birla Temple etc. In evening, drive to airport to catch flight for home town or next destination.
